Refund policy
PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer refunds for purchases made on a change-of-mind basis. Items may be exchanged, or a credit note will be issued instead.
All Items to be returned must be unused, unaltered and unwashed with all original packaging and labelling intact. Please ensure your return is within 14 days from the date you received it. For any exchange to be considered for nightwear, all original tags must be in place, and the garment must be in original condition, unwashed, free from makeup stains, perfumes and oils.
Home & Abroad Trading offers customers who purchase from 1st December until the 15th January the option to return or exchange items. Please note this is only applicable to full priced items. Sale items are subject to the standard 14 day returns/exchange period from the date the goods are received. Final Sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.
It is the responsibility of the customer to cover the cost of return mail. Home & Abroad Trading is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit. It is recommended you return items with a service that provides tracking and insurance. Once your parcel has been received it will be processed and assessed within 3 business days. After which it will be determined whether a refund, credit note or exchange credit note will be issued. Refunds can take 1-10 business days depending on your bank provider.
At Home & Abroad Trading special care is taken when selecting and packing your order. Items are thoroughly checked and packaged accordingly to prevent damage. Once your order has left the warehouse, Home & Abroad Trading will not be responsible for any delay in delivery time, lost or damage deliveries.
Conditions For Returns
EXCHANGE
If you wish to exchange an item please follow the below steps:
- Please email orders@homeandabroad.com.au with your full Name, order number, photos of the item/s you wish to exchange.
- Home & Abroad Trading will respond within 24-48 hours Monday to Friday.
- Do not return items without prior confirmation from Home & Abroad Trading.
- Please keep the item and packaging in their original condition for return postage.
- The customer is to cover the cost of returns and exchanges unless Home & Abroad Trading deems them faulty.
- Home & Abroad Trading is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit. It is recommended you return items with a service that provides tracking and insurance.
- Items are to be returned to Home & Abroad Trading
- Returns address: 505 High Street Prahran VIC 3121 once the goods arrive safely and in saleable condition and/or in the original packaging. Home & Abroad Trading can commence the exchange.
Sale Returns
FINAL SALE
Items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
All sale items will be listed as FINAL SALE on the product page. When dispatching your order Home & Abroad Trading will ensure all Final Sale items are marked, however in busier times this is not always possible. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to refer to the Home & Abroad Trading return policy prior to purchasing.
All other sale items can be exchanged within 14 days.
INCORRECT ITEM RECEIVED
If you are sent the incorrect item/s, please follow the below steps:
- Take a picture of the item/s that were incorrectly sent.
- Please email orders@homeandabroad.com.au with your full name, order number, and photos of the incorrect item/s.
- Home & Abroad Trading will respond within 24-48 hours Monday to Friday.
- Please keep the item and packaging in their original condition for collection.
FAULTY ITEM/S
At Home & Abroad Trading special care is taken when selecting and packing your order. Items are thoroughly checked and packaged accordingly to prevent damage. Once your order has left the warehouse, Home & Abroad Trading will not be responsible for any delay in delivery time, lost or damage deliveries.
Many items sourced by Home & Abroad Trading are handmade and may have some slight imperfections which are an unavoidable consequence of their handmade nature. Should you believe you have received a faulty item please contact Home & Abroad Trading at orders@homeandabroad.com.au with images of the faulty item/s. The item will be assessed and approval determined.
In the instance that a piece is deemed faulty, Home & Abroad Trading will offer a refund, replacement or in some instances, a partial credit.
